Bright Night Providence is at a crossroads.
In 2003, First Night Providence announce that it couldn't go forward due to financial constraints.
The performers of Rhode Island stepped forward, refusing to let a 19 year tradition die, and created a slimmed down and streamlined festival that has been operating in the black for the last 6 years.
During that time period, we've employed hundreds of local artists, and over 100,000 people have enjoyed our family-friendly shows and events on New Year's Eve.
In the last three years FIVE New Year's Eve Celebrations have gone out of business within a 1 hour drive of us.
The Bright Night performers are committed to keeping this festival alive.
BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP TO MAKE IT HAPPEN.
We need to raise $20,000 in the next 30 days.
Our goal is to get you and 2010 of your closest friends to give $20 each, and have each person tell 10 people about our cause.
